Anouk Defontenay

Anouk trained in the adult choir of the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris in the class of Rosa Dominguez. She is a 2023 laureate of the Fonds Tutti and performed with Clémentine Margaine at the  Amphitheater of the Opéra Bastille in Paris.  She is also a laureate of the Royaumont Foundation.

On stage she sang  3. Dame / Die Zauberflöte at Royaumont Festival , Mère Jeanne / Les Dialogues des Carmélites at Massy Opéra, la Nymphe des Eaux and la Bergère Héroïque/  Armide by Lully at Opéra Royal de Versailles and Opéra de Dijon, L’Enfant / L’Enfant et les sortilèges at Musica Nigella Festival and Juditha / Juditha Triumphans in Nice.

Anouk is a very active concert performer with recent performances including  Duruflé’s  Requiem (Salle Gaveau), Bach’s St John’s Passion (in Clermont-Ferrand and Paris), Monteverdi’s Salve Morale de C.Monteverdi (Krakow), Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater ( Massy, Montmin)….

She regularly collaborates with the Pygmalion Ensemble (cond. Raphaël Pichon), the Poème Harmonique (cond. Vincent Dumestre), Les Paladins (cond. Jérôme Correas), the Aïgal Ensemble.
