Adrien Djouadou
Adrien Djouadou began singing in Avignon first with Pierre Guiral then with Beatrix Tarchini. He went on to perfect his vocal skills in the Opera classes of Valérie Marestin in Avignon then in Paris with Pierre Catala. He graduated from the National Regional Conservatory of Paris in Guillemette Laurens’ class.
He obtained his master’s degree in singing from the HEMU in Lausanne, in the class of Frédéric Gindraux and Jean-Philippe Clerc. He has also worked with Regina Werner, Françoise Tillard and Élène Golgevit.
He was a semi-finalist and finalist in international competitions (Avignon, Voix Nouvelles regional final in Massy). He sang at the Opéra d’Avignon (L’Ancien in Charpentier’s La Pastorale de Noël in 2017, Judas in Le Messie du Peuple Chauve by Éric Breton in 2020 and Saint-Saëns’ Requiem in 2021), at the Grand Palais in Paris (Tahua in Colson’s L’esprit du feu in 2018), for the Fabrique Opéra Avignon Provence (Zuniga in Carmen in 2018), in Lugano ( Stravinsky’s Threni in 2021) and for the Opéra de Lausanne (Un hombre in Vives’ Doña Francisquita in 2019). He is Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte for Ouverture Opéra Sion in September 2022, Stravinsky’s Les Noces, conducted by Daniel Reuss, in 2023.
In 2024, he will be the second armed man and the second priest in Die Zauberflöte and also the Gran Sacerdote in Nabucco at the Opéra de Lausanne.
