Giacomo Nanni was born in 1996 in Roma. He first studied the violin and the piano, then singing at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory where he graduated with honors in 2020.
From 2016 he’s been collaborating with Alessandro Quarta and the Concerto Romano, and appeared at the Resonanzen Festival at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Aequinox Festival in Neuruppin, Musikfest of Bremen, Vesperali in Lugano, Roma Festival Barocco, Musikè in Rovigo.
From 2017 to 2020 he has been invited by the Reate Festival for I Due timidi by Nino Rota, Monteverdi’s Il Ritorno di Ulisse in patria and L’Empio punito by Alessandro Melani.
Other roles include Schaunard / La Bohème (Sandnes, Norway), Figaro / Il Barbiere di Siviglia by Paisiello (Siena), Saturno / La Divisione del mondo by Legrenzi (Kiel), Giove / Amore e Psiche by Fux (Graz) and Pallante / Agrippina (Stockholm), Guglielmo / Cosi Fan Tutte (Varese)
