Louis de Lavignère

Louis de Lavignère has a long experience as a soloist dating back from his childhood when, as a boy soprano, he appeared at the Paris Opéra Bastille as  one of the 3 Knaben / Die Zauberflöte and as  the Shepherd / Tosca.

The young Franco-Spanish bass baritone was a member of the Opera Studio of the Lyon National Opera but has already appeared on prominent  stages  in France  and abroad : Offenbach’s Le Roi Carotte and Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel at the Lyon National Opera, Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette at the Bordeaux Grand-Théâtre, Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, in Dortmund, Bremen and Edinburgh, Ravel’s L’Enfant et les sortilèges at the Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris and Beijing Concert Hall….

He has a special affinity with Mozart and he has already sung on stage both Don Giovanni and Leporello, as well as  Papageno / Die Zauberflöte, ideally combining an energetic and youthful voice with great acting skills.

On the concert platform,  he has sung Fauré’s Requiem (in France and Japan), Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria

Recently he was at the Paris Opéra-Comique for the benefit concert of Fonds Tutti alongside Benjamin Bernheim, Philippe Jaroussky, Sabine Devieilhe and Clémentine Margaine a.o.  and sang Verdi’s Requiem in Paris, Malatesta / Don Pasquale at Château de Salveilles and Sacchini’s Chimène ou le Cid with Julien Chauvin and the Concert de la Loge.

Upcoming : Dulcamarta / Elisir d’amore  at Bordeaux National Opera, Escamillo / Carmen  with Opera2day in Den Haag.

Louis is starring in the latest movie by Claude Zidi Jr. Tenor.
