Solène Laurent

Mezzo-soprano Solène Laurent (25 y.o.) started studying music at the early age of 4 (singing, piano and oboe).

In 2007, she joined Notre-Dame of Paris Cathedral’s children choir and sang her first solos during the liturgy, concerts and recordings.

In 2014, Solène was admitted at the Paris Region Conservatory where she sang the roles of Cupidon / Orphée aux Enfers, Prince Orlovsky / Die Fledermaus and Geneviève / Pelléas et Mélisande.

In January 2018 she appeared at Préludes at the Paris Philharmonie and at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. The same year, she was accepted at the National Superior Conservatory of Music of Paris (CNSMDP) where she graduated in 2021 with full honors.

She attended the masterclasses of Karine Deshayes, Nathalie Stutzmann, Inva Mula…

With the Atelier Lyrique of Opera Fuoco with whom she sang Dorabella / Così Fan Tutte (directed by Mariame Clément, and conducted by David Stern) at the Festival de la Grange aux Pianos.

She is pursuing her master degree at the CNSMDP with Chantal Mathias and Florence Boissolle.

She will be singing the title role of Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas in the upcoming production at the CNSMDP under the baton of Leonardo García Alarcón
