André Heyboer

Since his debut at the Capitole of Toulouse in 2005, André Heyboer has performed on the stages of Marseille, Dijon, Hong Kong, Montpellier, Lille, Limoges, Monte Carlo, Avignon, Toulon, Amsterdam, Opéra Comique, Paris National Opera, Champs-Elysées Theater, São Paulo, Munich Prinzregententheater, Theater an der Wien, Palau de les Artes in Valencia, Grosses Festspielhaus Salzburg…

He has sung the baton of Marco Armiliato, Roberto Abbado, Fabio Carminati, Placido Domingo, Dan Ettinger,Valery Gergiev , Alain Guingal, Daniel Oren, Carlo Rizzi, Leo Hussain, E. Pido, Ulf Schirmer, Pinchas  Steinberg…and with directors  Pierre Audi, Giles Bouillon, Lilo  Baur, Jean-Lois Grinda, Nicolas Joel, Andreas  Kriegenburg, la Furia del Baus, Gian-Carlo Del Monaco, Yoshi Oïda , Coline Serreau …

With his warm and strong baritone voice, and his splendid hight notes, he excels on stage in roles such Alfio in Cavalleria Rusticana, Tonio in Pagliacci, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly, Athanael in Thaïs, Zurga in Les Pêcheurs de Perles, The High Priest in Samson and Dalila, Nilakantha in Lakmé, Albert in Werther, Germont in Traviata, Iago in Otello, ... and the title roles of Nabucco and Macbeth.

In 2010, he is Le Père in a the world premiere of Mickael Levinas’ opera: La Métamorphose, that was awarded the  Grand Prix of the Charles Cros Academy in 2012 and the Prize of the Lyric Academy of the disc.

He recorded Les Bayadères de Catel and Cinq-Mars de Gounod for the Palazetto Bru Zane label.
